Dyslexie font

Dear Parents,
I wonder if you've noticed that some of the work coming home from school is printed in a different font.  This font is called Dyslexie font and is designed for people with dyslexia to make reading, learning and working easier.  
Every letter is uniquely shaped and increases the ease of reading for people with dyslexia.
It was designed by a Dutch dyslexic student who felt it helped him to read more easily.
We've installed it on our computers for everyone to use - it's very subtly different.

WEATHER REPORTS #3

Here is a copy of our third (and final) collection of weather reports from our guest weather reporters. A huge 'thank you' goes to our special helpers! We've really enjoyed receiving your information and photos. We've been able to use a variety of tools to collect, graph and compare the weather in our focus locations. What fun we've had!

WEATHER REPORTS #2

Last week we received our second round of information from our Weather Reporters. It is so exciting to receive their emails, photos and information. We have had some really good discussions about what we are finding out from the data we are collecting.

From our reading on cyclones, we discovered that they form over warm water. Having studied the map of where cyclones have occurred (usually in the far north of Australia), we formed the hypothesis that places in the north of Australia are warmer than those in the south. So far, our weather data has supported this hypothesis! We look forward to receiving our third and final communication from our wonderful helpers this week.
